Malcolm H. Scott Bio

Malcolm Scott (Associate Broker) has been in the Real Estate field for nearly twenty years. He began his career with First Capital Mortgage back in 1990 in Pacific Palisades. Shortly thereafter he became the Co-Branch Manager of a regional Mortgage Banking operation that quickly became the top producing office in the a company of over 250 people.  Most recently Malcolm was a top producer and Broker of Record at Capital Lending Resources, a local boutique mortgage operation specializing in Commercial Real Estate and finance, as well as residential real estate finance.

Over the years Malcolm has been involved in numerous commercial real estate deals and financed a great deal of apartment buildings, mixed use deals, as well as grand estates in Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Montecito and other exclusive communities on the West Coast.

He has enjoyed a great friendship and professional working relationship with Randy Forbes Jr. and they have worked on real estate transactions together for years as their friendship dates back to the beginning of both of their real estate careers. Malcolm is excited and honored to now formally be a part of the Forbes Real Estate Team.

Malcolm has a wife named Ruthy and a four year old daughter Charlotte Ann. He enjoys skiing, photography and practicing Martial Arts. He has taught Martial Arts to children at Bentwood’s Champions Martial Arts Studio for over a decade and earned his second degree Black Belt in 2005. Malcolm grew up in Greenwich Connecticut and moved south to attend the University of Florida. Malcolm considers himself a devoted Gator, even though he eventually graduated cum laude with an Interdisciplinary Degree from The New York Institute of Technology.
